MORE than 40,000 people living in Kopiago, Awi/Lagayu and Hewa in Hela will soon be connected to the rest of the country by road.
Koroba-Kopiago MP Philip Undialu is giving priority to the road and transport infrastructure.
A first time MP, Undialu wasted no time and bought earth-moving machines for K12 million late last year to build better roads.
The machinery has been moved to Koroba to start the work.
A community leader from Kopiago station John Ayako has commended his local MP for his initiative to connect his people to Koroba, Hela and rest of the country.
