Road report

THE National Government’s four-lane road upgrade from Kagamuga Airport to Keltiga in Western Highlands has not progressed as well as anticipated.
In the last quarter of 2017 the Chinese contractors, escorted by heavy-handed security personnel, embarked on completing that project overnight.
That project has since slowed down and we are wondering if it will ever progress further
Can Works Secretary David Wereh provide details on when this project is expected to be completed?
As it is now, the road is in a dilapidated condition making commuters uncomfortable.
