Roosters bag JT nines cup

SSG Roosters claimed the Moresby South Rugby League Justin Tkatchenko Cup 9s beating Funeral Homes Laumas 18-12 in the final at the Sir Bill Skate Oval on Sunday.
Roosters received the cup and earned K20,000 for their efforts while the Laumas settled for K10,000 and a trophy.
Presentation of the cash prizes and individual awards will be done tomorrow evening at the Ela Beach Hotel.
Kerema rugby league recruit Michael Araua grabbed the match winner for the Roosters in extra time.
