Route 4 buses still a problem

Letters

THE National Capital District motorcycle traffic officers should check the route 4 buses at Town and Gordon bus stops, in Port Moresby, to confirm the route they are taking and how much they are charging passengers.
At Gordon, there two sets of buses picking passengers.
Some buses servicing route 4 will go direct to Town and charge K2 while some will go to Boroko only and charge K1 and drop passengers there.
Can the traffic officers or the authorities do their job by ensuring these kinds of buses are not overcharging passengers and complete their route?
Again, can ICCC come out in the media and inform the public the bus fare from Gordon via Boroko to Town and Town via Boroko to Gordon?
Furthermore, can ICCC confirm the bus fare for shorter distances? Is it a standard bus fare K1 regardless of distance?
Some passengers pay less (50 toea) according to the distance they want to go, for example, Gordon to Courts but crew insists they pay K1.
It happened many times and fight erupts between passengers and boss crew so please confirm who is correct here?
This may lead to injuries and may result in death.
