THERE is no control of rubbish in our major towns and cities, plastic bags, food cans and all sorts of rubbish are lying everywhere.

It does not look good and defaces our towns and cities.

Lae is the second largest city but you can see rubbish lying everywhere.

Can the town authorities clean up the town and impose penalties on those people, who carelessly litter?

Also as good citizens of this country, we should by now be able to understand that there is a proper place to drop our rubbishes.

It as an eye sore to the general public and especially the tourists and visitors from other countries, everybody must work together to keep our towns and cities clean.

On the other hand, the business houses must make it their priority to clean up their backyards (especially along the fences and around their vicinities)

Our towns do not look good with rubbish everywhere and tall grasses growing along the road sides and fences.
