Rupa’s silver was decided in the first 90 seconds of a total three minutes when she blocked a couple of punches from the Tahitian fighter.

She told The National yesterday that she held back good punches and kicks which she was supposed to deliver against a tough Tahitian opponent.

Rupa admitted that the fight was good but the crowd cheering made her lose focus and concentration into the final round, she said.
