Saints crush Royals in Wewak

 SAINTS walloped Royals 25-8 in the Wewak netball competition round three on Saturday.

It was a one-sided affair as Saints were too fast in attack and defended extremely well.

Key Saints players were Sanialla Anis (GS), Sheena Vito (GA), Sarafina Anis (GD), Stephanie Huafilong (GK), Loretta Siria (WD), Theresia Kaiap (WA) and Angelica Nanguromo (C), who teamed up and coordinated both halves.

Royals tried desperately to get in the game with Bernadette Hoibi (GK), Sharon Wenki (GD), Sandra Kapari (WD), Jemimai Yai (C ), Maria Kapari (WA), Joy Kaukudi (GS) and Belinda Hombihomo (GA) falling to a better opposition. 

The competition is intensifying with top sides Boco and Kipes leading the standings after round three.

In the other encounters, Boco beat Anness 21-19 and Kipes downed Heights 22-10. 

In the Under-17, Boco beat Anness 12-6, Saints edged Royals 9-8 and Kipes beat Heights 7-6. Two forfeitures were recorded in U15 matches.
