BUSINESSWOMEN from the Pacific will be featured in an economic magazine to be launched in March in Vanuatu.
Among the 35 selected to appear in the magazine’s maiden issue is Papua New Guinean entrepreneur Janet  Sape.
The forthcoming magazine is called Economic Opportunities for Women in the Pacific.
Mrs Sape will present a case study of her own business and how she made it a successful venture.
Mrs Sape said it is an honour for her to share her business experience with other women from the Pacific region.
“I have been asked to do a presentation on what I am doing here through business and it is surely timely as we are working towards the business women’s expo in Lae scheduled next month … this will surely give me the much-needed exposure through business,” she said.
International Finance Co (IFC) Investment policy officer Sonali Hedditch said they were pleased Mrs Sape was one of the 35 selected to present her case study.
IFC, a member of the World Bank Group, in partnership with AusAID and the International Trade Centre, will launch the publication in Vanuatu from March 3-5 and businesswomen from the Pacific will   attend to present their respective case studies.
