NAMATANAI MP Walter Schnaubelt, pictured, has acknowledged the work of churches as equal development partners and has vowed to work in partnership with them to develop his electorate.
He made this undertaking after pledging his government’s commitment to support a newly established United Church run school, Arrow In Quiver Mission School at Kimadan in the Namatanai district, New Ireland.
He donated K10,000 to the school during its 5th graduation anniversary recently. Schnaubelt said the donation is the start of his partnership with the school that is under the Kimadan Division of the United Church Agency of New Ireland.
Schnaubelt said under his policy, people will always be his utmost priority and that they deserved to be recognised with their needs.
Schnaubelt acknowledged the school director Jacinta Lokonbo for her initiative in establishing the school in 2016 that is serving the interest of spreading the word of God through training men and women become pastors.
He challenged the graduating students to believe in themselves and strive to succeed in life no matter how hard the situation is.
