School drop in standard

I AM a parent whose children have been educated in Kiunga Secondary School.
It is with great disappointment that I would like to ask: What happened to Kiunga Secondary last year?
The school in the past years sent an average of nine students to UPNG, six students to Unitech and numerous to various other institutions.
Last year I searched in vain through the papers to see if there would be any students from Kiunga Secondary continuing on merit to tertiary
Institutions but I was shocked to find the total number was in single digit.
Every year there has been internal disputes as a result of specific appointments, particularly the principal’s position.
These have now taken a toll on our children’s overall performance and I am sick of hearing the disputes linger on even now in 2011.
