School head hits out at minister

 A SCHOOL administrator says Education Minister Nick Kuman does not know the situation of schools that were defying a Government directive not to charge project fees.

Deputy chairman of the governing council of Milfordhaven Primary School in Lae, Ben Jeremiah Ari said policy makers failed to see the real situation faced by schools or were not told about it.

“I am totally against the Education Minister because most schools do not receive their (tuition fee free) funds on time before the academic year and classes resume,” he said.
