School plans on improving learning facilities

The Kamba Primary School in Madang is planning to improve its learning facilities after the launching of its school learning improvement plan booklet.
Head teacher Darius Odai said the school had been neglected since 1963 and the plan was a way forward. New toilet facilities, a classroom, a conference room and a library were among some of the projects stated in the school’s 2019 to 2021 plan.
Madang director for education Moses Sariki received the schools plan from Odai.
Sariki assured the Madang education division’s support in implementing the projects.
He also urged the school board and parents to agree on a reasonable amount for the school’s project fees to fund some of their plans.
