Caritas Secondary Technical School in Kimbe, West New Britain, received K250,000 in financial assistance from Governor Sasindran Muthuvel yesterday.
Muthuvel commended the school management for putting up buildings in record time that enabled the students to have classes.
The school opened for classes at the Kimbe Catholic Diocese Hall last year and later moved to their current location at San Remo after the classrooms were built.
Muthuvel urged the students to give priority to their education because education is the gateway for them to improve their lives.
He told the girls to have big dreams and to work hard to attract their dreams by improving their capacity and improving their ability.
Meanwhile, Kimbe Catholic Diocese vicar general Fr Gabriel Tovo and school principal Sr Florentina Cho thanked Muthuvel for the assistance.
Sr Florentina said there were no words to express their gratitude but they would continue to pray that God would continue to bless the provincial government.
This K250,000 from the internal revenue under trust funds is the second payment given to the school.
The first payment of K250,000 was presented to the school last year.
