Schoolboys league enters third round

THE Port Moresby schoolboys rugby league competition entered its third round over the weekend at Murray Barracks oval on Saturday.
A total of 12 teams took part in Saturday’s game in all three divisions which were U16, U14 and U12.
In the U16 the main game between Ted Diro Primary School and St John’s Primary School a well-organised St John’s defeated Ted Diro 4-0.
Led by five-eight Moses Bolkun, who was outstanding in both attack and defence, controlled the game by setting up his forwards and backs very well.
The scores would have been much higher but due to bad options and tries that went begging.
