DESPITE going without a district education manager since the beginning of the school year, Nawaeb district is doing well, district chief executive officer James Neapukali says.
He said that although the position was still vacant, there was a possibility of appointing a new person in the near future.
“A school inspector has been appointed to oversee and inspect schools in the district while other duties are taken care of until we have a permanent education manager in place,” Neapukali said.
He said that despite the delay, the district started off on a high note and most schools were doing well.
He said Boana Technical High School started well with three grade 9 classes.
