Schools to receive textbooks

Education

THE Japanese Government through the Japan’s grant aid for the economic and social development programme for Papua New Guinea delivered more than 20,000 textbooks to schools in Jiwaka last week.
A total of 115 primary schools will be benefiting.
The books will be delivered to schools by the Jiwaka Youth Foundation.
The Jiwaka Government under the leadership of Dr William Tongamp provided and assisted with the logistics support towards the delivery of the books.
Acting provincial administrator Stafan Wamil Wusik under his
works division had allocated a warehouse within the provincial headquarter to cater for the 29,520 text books.
He thanked the Japanese government and added that these books would make a lot of differences in students learning.
