CAN the Morobe Provincial Education Board inspectors visit high schools and secondary schools within Lae and the province to see how well some of these schools are progressing in conducting the registration of students this academic year? The Nawaeb High School staffs for instance, had denied and rejected some continuing bright students from last years’ grade 10s to obtain their offer letters and certificates to proceed to grade 11. This particular high school could not provide the continuing students their offer letters and certificates saying those documents were misplaced or either need to pay upfront the outstanding school fees before papers are released. Some of these unfortunate students affected by this selfish decision are now on the streets hoping that the provincial education authorities or someone higher in the Education Department will step in and assist them.
