Science Cafe reopens

Education

THE Kokopo Science Cafe, which was introduced by the University of Natural Resources and Environment vice-chancellor last year, has opened again.
Vice-Chancellor Professor John Warren started the programme to encourage young students to seek a better understanding and knowledge of science.
It is at the Monsieur Henry Cafe in Kokopo every first Monday of the month.
It opened last week with the topic “Genetically Modified Organisms: Good or Evil?”
Last year, it covered different topics and included presentations from experts in and around Kokopo.
There were organised debates and discussions.
The university is keen to see more students and lecturers involved.
