Scorpions on a roll in NCD volleyball

THE Scorpions won their third consecutive game on Saturday, beating Ela Motors 3-1 in the National Capital District Nambawan Trophy Volleyball Association competition. 
Scorpions’ representative player Ula Gima took the game away from Ela Motors in the fourth set with a series of power shots and deft blocking that broke the motorists’ resolve.
In other men’s premier games, Vanama turned out After Dark 3-0, U-Mi Yet edged Vailima 3-2 and newcomers Gabaga went down to Snipers 3-1.
In the women’s premier games U-Mi Yet beat Vailima 3-2, Idubada upset After Dark 3-1, Scorpions downed YWCA 3-1 and in the women’s game of the round Snipers blasted Bullets 3-0.
