Scorpions sting Telikom in grudge match

EDA Tech Scorpions avenged their 2017 grand final defeat to PTPSL Telikom after beating the reigning champions three sets to two in the National Capital Dsitrict Volleyball women’s premier division at Taurama Aquatic and Indoor Stadium last Saturday.
The result left Scorpions undefeated at the top of the ladder alongside MJ Electrical after three games in round one of the 2018 season.
The Scorpions switched Michelle Walo, a middle blocker, to the edge, leaving younger sister, Titi, and Isa Hicks in the centre to defend against experienced Telikom campaigners Madia Hairai, Bibiana Paloa, Kemmy Manoni, Alice Ilau, Jynar Bernard and Ruth Miro.
