SDA Church group conducts clean-a-thon in Alotau

MEMBERS of the Seventh-Day Adventist church’s Total Membership Involved (TMI) carried out a clean-a-thon programme in Alotau town last week.
The two-week programme which ended on Friday changed the look of the town to the delight of the town authority and the public.
It was an annual project by church members to help their communities in some way and spread the gospel at the same time.
Around 500 church members from Milne Bay took part.
They also conducted tests for blood pressure, sugar level and dental checkups.
They also donated blood.
The members also went to Goilanai Primary School to assist with work on a new assembly hall. They also cut grass at Cameron Secondary.
They distributed personal hygiene packs to inmates at Giligili prison and shared prayers with those at the hospital.
