THE security measure at Angau Memorial Hospital is very lax.
It is embarrassing to see such a major public asset engaging a semi-professional security firm to look after its security rather than engaging a professional outfit.
The hospital board must do something to restore the confidence of the public in terms of security issues.
It must not forget that the security of its staff is also affected.
Lae city is known for its notorious criminal activities and what the board is doing is not something we expect from the members.
Are the board members serious when it comes to saving lives?
