ZORBS Security Services in Mt Hagen, Western Highlands, has come to the aid of the Professional Accelerate Institute by buying 10 new computer sets at a cost of more than K30,000.
The company decided to support the institution that focuses on training pastors and church leaders with computer skills to preach the Word of God.
Managing director Daniel Lusman Dokta said he wanted to help such an institution that was trying its best to spread the Word of God.
Dokta said churches played a vital role in maintaining law and order.
He said business houses needed to support such schools and institutions.
He said the government needed to support the work of churches.
He said churches were the backbone of national development and deserved all the support they could get.
Dokta said the institute had trained many pastors and leaders to use PowerPoint presentation and other computer programmes.
He said his company had seen the need of the institution and decided to buy these computer sets for it.
Dokta said his security firm had earlier bought a printer and a photocopy machine for the institute.
He said he supported such an institution because he saw that the churches played a big role in handling social issues and maintaining the law and order problem.
