Security firm hands over job to rival competitor

 AIR Niugini Aviation Security Services praised Goroka-based Manaka Security Services for “excellent security services” at the Goroka airport during its contract.

Sam Kasa of Aviation Security said  its a history that a local security firm willingly handing over the job to another competitor company.

“Currently, we have problems with landowner security companies in Mt Hagen and Mendi airports fighting to keep the security job,” Kasa said. “But Manaka Security doing the opposite by handing over to G4S after its contract expired.” 

Manaka managing director Obed Zebedee said  there was no need to fight over contracts as the management had made the decision not to renew his company’s contract.
