Security firm responsible for salaries, says Agarobe

reports of security guards going on rampage at the Central administration office had nothing to do with the administration but the security firm, says governor Robert Agarobe.
On Saturday, security guards went on rampage damaging vehicles and the administration building.
The drunk security guards took out their frustrations on the properties over unpaid wages.
Agarobe said the administration paid the security firm who in turn was supposed to pay the guards.
“This has been an ongoing issue where guards are not paid on time by the security firm,” Agarobe said.
“They do get paid, not by us but by the security firm.”
He said the individuals who caused the rampage and threatened to burn down the administration’s finance office had been arrested and would be charged accordingly.
Agarobe said claims that the administration was responsible for the guards’ unpaid salaries were incorrect.

  • Look up the lunatics..! Don’t have any common sense. Why didn’t they want to get their frustrations on their boss..the secuity company owner. Governor..give the security contract to a reputable security company like SecurityPlus, Guard Dog or Black Swan.

  • Strip off the Security Contract. So Simple!
And claim the damages from the Security firm.
