A SECURITY guard employed by a Lae-based construction company was abducted, killed and his body dumped at a park in Lae last Friday.

Eyewitnesses said the driver ran the vehicle over the man’s skull at Apex Park, in Eriku. People living close by ran to the scene but the driver fled. They then called the police homicide unit.

Police said the man was from the Highlands and worked as a security guard.

His relatives said the man worked as a night guard to look after the FTM Construction Company equipment at the park.

FTM is engaged in the construction of the Bumbu Road, from Andersons’ Roundabout at Eriku, to Bumbu Bridge at Kamkumung.

FTM Construction Ltd owner John Rosso arrived at the scene later.
