SUPPORT for the Lae Netball Associations ahead of the national netball championships in Goroka keep flowing in, with Seeto Kui (Holdings) Limited joining the bandwagon of sponsors on Thursday.
The company donated almost K3,000 worth of food items in rice, tinned fish, tea, coffee, water and biscuits for players of the association during the week-long championships.
National sales manager David Bell said Seeto Kui was happy to support the association.
He said the company had been involved in sports over the years.
“We are community-oriented,” Bell said.
“We support where we can and Seeto Kui will continue to do that.
“The company has been in business for 80 years and we do community work for schools and churches, where we see the need.”
Association president Shirley Lung thanked Seeto Kui for the support.
Apart from Seeto Kui, Lung also acknowledged the support of Prima Smallgoods, Lae Biscuit Company, Chemcare Group and NKW Group.
“We are grateful to all the business houses in the city for supporting netball,” she said.
Lung said 15 netball associations from around the country would compete in the tournament.
She said her players were expecting a strong challenge from favourites Port Moresby.
