LAE City Dwellers assistant team manager Peter Seske says the team needs fans to cheer for them in the match against Rapatona at the Sir Ignatius Kilage Stadium in Lae, today at 2pm.

Seske said after the game against Rapatona, the Dwellers will face Hekari United in Port Moresby on Saturday.

“I would like to thank the good, loyal and dedicated soccer fans  for the good behaviour despite there being a minimum security presence during matches at the stadium.

“Your invaluable contribution have enabled the two Morobe-based National Soccer League franchises representing the Northern Conference at the Champions League challenge, with one of the teams making it into the finals.

“Be good and fair supporters.

“I would like to invite our good soccer supporting families to show up before the match starts at 2pm to give a decent boost to the Dwellers,” Seske said.

Northern Conference match commissioner Alex Toki said that no instances of soccer-related violence had been recorded in Lae.

Toki urged fans to pack the playing venue today to support their teams.

Rapatona arrived in Lae yesterday for the game.
