Sharks rule roost in Hagen

 MAMBLA Sharks beat the New Town Jets 20-0 to claim the K5,000 top prize during the recent Mt Hagen rugby league preseason challenge  at the Rebiamul oval.
Sharks winger Ale Kiku scored the first of his side’s four tries.
The Jets could not stay in the contest to mount any kind of fight back as handling errors kept them heeld for most of the match. Kiku bagged his second try midway through opening half for a 10-0 lead and despite valiant efforts by Jets five-eighth Benedict Witi and backrower Leo Koipa, Sharks defence held firm.
Sharks Linsten Jack scored a length of the field try to put a further nail in Jets coffin for a 14-0 lead before Solo Kumin bagged the fourth try.
