Shipping company should buy better vessels

I AM a frequent passenger of the Starship company.
The service is good in terms of efficiency and affordable passenger fare.
On the other hand, I am concerned about the way people normally board the company’s vessels to travel within the country.
At times, last-minute passengers would buy tickets at the gate and fill the vessels until there is hardly any space to move freely.
This could be one of the many reasons that led to the sinking of the Rabaul Queen.
I have three suggestions to avert a repeat.
l    The company should not allow people to take up space in the chamber near the engine room;
l    The company should provide better passenger ships; and
l    Do not allow overloading of ships because it is a risk during rough seas and bad weather.
