Shoot Goroka pigs too

 The warning issued by PPC Mt Hagen to shoot down pigs sold on the streets in Mt Hagen as reported in The National is highly commendable and I salute him for that. However, I just wish that his counterpart in Goroka would read this and follow suit. The PPC in Goroka has a worse off situation than Hagen and only needs to take a minute’s drive from his office down to the main market to see for himself. The pigs roam the market freely and feed off from the rubbish there, the market is controlled by the locals and the poor market vendors do nothing in fear of retaliation . The pigs eat all the rubbish well that they become so fat like their owners who do nothing but feed off from the junks from the Nearby Kakaruk and Suave markets and become so fat just like the pigs. Ironically, the Lady Governor has literally done nothing since taking office. The market is her own backyard and she should be in the forefront to make it better for everyone, especially the womenfolk that she claims to represent.
