Shop owner wounded in robbery

A SHOP owner was wounded after he confronted armed men in a robbery at Hohola last Friday.
Hohola police station commander Senior Inspector Ben Kua said the incident occurred between 5pm and 6pm when shoppers, two security guards and workers were inside.
Kua said six men including the driver had parked their vehicle some distance from the shop. Three men armed with guns entered and held up the owner inside. Two stook outside. He said the owner who had a gun struggled with the three before managing to shoot two of them. They immediately fled.
Kua said the owner was also shot and is receiving treatment in hospital.
