Simon’s appointment supported

I SUPPORT the appointment of Maprik MP John Simon as the Agriculture and Livestock Minister.
His led well his people of Maprik district in agriculture before becoming a National Member of Parliament.
It is not a mistake to appoint him as agriculture minister.
Practically he did something more valuable in life provided and encourages individuals to cultivate land for better living standard in the district.
As results of Maprik, a little town of its own, turn out to be economic zone for the people of East Sepik and created daily and yearly revenue for the province.
This has created dug well (business activities) for other neighbouring districts including East and West Sepik people to conduct daily businesses in the heart of the East Sepik (Maprik).
If he can built Maprik through agriculture then managing of country’s agriculture is minor.
In this ministry we believe you will make a greatest impact to the lives of the Central Sepik because that’s where our daily living entirely depends on agriculture.
He is passionate about agriculture for the people of Maprik.
Before becoming an MP, he provided people of the district with Cocoa Fermentary Kit for drying cocoa, cocoa seedlings, poly bags and provided vehicles to pick up tones of coffee, cocoa dry bean bags into the villages to transport them to the main ports for export.
Member elect is a business like-minded man and service provider in terms of agriculture at his electorate.
With this portfolio given, the people of Central Sepik have trust and believe in him that if he can prove himself to become a successful businessman then, he can be able to manage country’s economy through agriculture. He has vast of experiences in agriculture in general.
He also encourages people to utilize their land to be more self-reliant for better living in the district.
Simple ordinary people in the village who really wants to make business don’t give away cash but guarantee them to get bank loans and later work hard to repay loans.
This is what we called SME business.
Our leader does not have such cash handouts mentally but assure people to cultivate land so people become more self-reliant.
When he saw them venturing into SME businesses he facilitated the setup of the NDB bank and allocated space for BSP bank to operate where people now have access to it happily.
Peacefully with humble like-minded sustainable business men and women.
In his term as ordinary MP, he established big cattle farm at Sepik plain of ROMA area of Maprik district and have ordered hundreds of cattle’s and pigs at Arap in Morobe and established piggery Farm at his electorate along the main Sepik Highway.
Now the vanilla is becoming very high in the global market and he has instructed District DAL officers to formulate a policy to control this cash crop and log up all economy for the people of Maprik district including neighbouring districts and port of the people of West Sepik including Nuku, Lumi, Yangkok and Aitape along the Toresely Range who shares common boundary with Maprik and Drekkier districts of East Sepik.
He has a wealth of experiences in agriculture and I believe his leadership as Minister for Agriculture and Livestock can make an impact because he has proven himself from the little setup so
People of Maprik for the first time congratulates you for the crown that was laid on you by Marape Davis government.
Your people are real men and women who cultivate land for survival through these difficult economy times.
Leaders who have heart for agriculture will eventually make an impact to this growing nation.
