Sir Kostas retiring from federation after 30 years

AFTER 30 years of service in the Employers Federation of PNG, Sir Kostas Constantinou will be retiring from the federation’s executive committee.
He made it known at the recent board meeting.
President David Doig said Sir Kostas joined the federation in 1991 as a committee member and became vice-president in 1998.
Doig thanked Sir Kostas for ensuring the success of the federation over the years.
The office bearers for the 2021/22 period are Doig as president, David Toua and Murray Woo as vice presidents and Graham Ainui, Shane Byrne, Darren Scott and
Seema Dass-Raju as committee members.
Arron Batts and Joselito Tubon are two additional committee members appointed under the federation’s constitution.
All those elected onto the federation’s executive committee represent a wide range of industries in the country bringing with them a vast range of experience and exposure in the private sector.
The audited accounts for the 2020 financial year were also tabled at the annual general meeting.
The federation reported that its activities, like others in the business community, had been impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic.
