Sir Mekere has experience

Letters

I NEVER forget those moments when students especially from the University of Papua New Guinea went on strike.
The Government’s decision on privatisation brought about a lot of confusions and uncertainties.
It was under the leadership of then Prime Minister Sir Mekere Morauta.
We later realised that his policy worked well for the country.
He was smart and wise too.
He was a top economist too.
One good example is Ok Tedi Mining.
When operating as a private company, it was effective,
every employer is happy, the
taste and colours of Ok Tedi Mining Ltd was there.
To all the MPs in Laguna, please let Sir Mekere be the prime minister and drive this country economically onto a better road before handing it over to any one of you young guns.
His mission will be accomplish in 2022.
So for this remaining period, try Sir Mekere so he could put some strategy to improve our economic situation.
My view only.

Willsman,
Kiunga
