THE late Grand Chief Sir Michael Thomas Somare was a hero, chief, nobleman and a man full of charisma
Many people commended him on his great leadership as a father and the first chief minister of the country.
News of late Sir Michael was received with deep sorrow.
While we accept that this day would come, the nation is still coming to terms with the news because he leaves behind a unique legacy.
On behalf of the mainline churches, the PNG Council of Churces conveys its deepest condolences to Lady Veronica, the children, his tribe, clansmen and the relatives on the passing of Sir Michael.
