SIX-MILE Crows ran in six tries in a 32-0 shutout of Southern Sisters in the women’s division of the Moresby South Rugby League competition at Moresby South Stadium on Sunday.
The Crows’ tries came through Mofa Steven (double), Joyce Kingsley, Susan Terry, Esther Joe and Lillian Neville. Mofa converted four goals from six attempts in a 16-point haul.
The competition rookies have been performing well and are expected to provide a strong challenge to the more established teams in the competition.
Sisters tried desperately in attack and defence, but the opposition were better organised as they walked away with a comfortable victory.
