Six new Covid-19 cases recorded in 3 days

PAPUA New Guinea has recorded six new Coronavirus (Covid-19) cases on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, bringing the total infections in the country to 17,778.
One case each was reported in West Sepik and Western Highlands on Tuesday.
Two cases were reported in Morobe and one in the Autonomous Region of Bougainville on Monday.
The single case on Sunday was reported in East New Britain.
The country’s Covid-19 death toll stands at 192.
The Covid-19 National Control Centre said in a statement that to date, a total of 148,299 people have tested for the virus. Forty people were still on ventilators and 1,653 health workers had been infected to date.
Globally, the total confirmed cases is at 198,976,258 including 466,041 new cases.
The death toll stands at 4,239,796, including 7,348 new deaths.
