Six pastors graduate from training in WHP

SIX pastors from the Christian Outreach Centre graduated with certificates last Friday after completing three months pastoral training.

The pastors completed their training at the Ministry Training Institute in Baiyer, Western Highlands.

This was the ninth graduation since the training school was established in 2006. It had provided training to pastors in the province and from neighboring provinces.

National chairman of the Christian Outreach Centre, Pr Mathew Roni said they trained people with pastoral knowledge and skills to understand their duties before going out into the field.

They teach people good values as a foundation of spiritual life so that they can impart this to the people.

He said the six pastors would contribute meaningfully to the spiritual wellbeing of the people in the country as they preach to harvest lost souls.

He urged people to let God rule their lives so that they could live peacefully.

He invites interested youths to enroll at the college and become servants of the Lord.

The college is a non-profit organisation that wants to help young people.
