LIFE skills offer hope to women in Moresb-South to further their education and go into the informal business sector, Angela Kawage says.
Kawage, 37, from Kerowagi, Chimbu, was one of the women who benefited from the life and business skills facilitated by the Ginigoada Foundation.
She said women in the wards wanted to be educated and equally participate in development.
“Women here learnt a lot of things they did not realise were important in their daily lives,” she said.
“Issues on health, environment and others were eye-openers for many mothers who attended the two-week programme.
“Mothers realised that there is more hope when they participated in the workshop despite the negative criticisms.”
