Smare joins CPL Group board

SHAREHOLDERS of City Pharmacy Ltd Group have been advised that Anthony Smare has been appointed board director.
Mr Smare, a lawyer by profession, is the general manager for corporate and legal branch of Barrick (PNG) Ltd.
He has current directorships with PNG Minerals Resources Authority, Nationwide Micro Bank, Telikom PNG and Barrick Gold PNG.
Enjoying various professional achievements since 1998, he is also a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
His capability lies in the field of corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, corporate business development and has vast hands-on experience as a company director in in mining, telcos, banking, media and insurance.
Mr Smare joins the CPL Group directorial team which currently includes John Jeffery, John Dunlop, Peter Aitsi and Bruce Dahlenburg as non-executive directors, Sudhir Guru (executive director) and Mahesh Patel the executive chairman.
