Smiles all around in Timboli

THE academic year starts next Monday and Timboli villagers in the middle Sepik area of East Sepik were full of smiles last Thursday.
By next year, they would have their first Grade 9 enrolment in the village.
The villagers raised K1,600 to charter a Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF) aircraft for education planner Don Mellam and primary school adviser Alois Kawe to fly from Wewak to Timboli to announce the provincial education board’s approval for a new high school
there.
Mellam urged villagers to get the necessary infrastructure in place before classes start next year.
