Snax nines underway

THE Lae Biscuits’ Snax nines challenge started yesterday with 24 teams taking part in the six-day competition.
The teams will play for a prize money of K24,000.
The nines challenge over the last four years had produced top players to the Lae Snax Tigers franchise and other Digicel Cup teams.
Out of the 24 teams taking part the only two outside teams were from Eastern Highlands .
According to the draws the teams were grouped into four pools of six teams each.
At the end of day four two teams from each pool will be eliminated.
The remaining four teams from each pool will proceed for the eliminations on day five.
