Port Moresby Schools Football Association chairman John Mogi says matches for the U16 and U18 divisions face cancellation this weekend unless a venue is secured.
Mogi said they were awaiting confirmation from the Administration College in Waigani to allow them to use their venue.
“We are hopeful that the games for our U16 and U18 will be played at the college,” Mogi said.
“In the meantime, we haven’t got any confirmation from them yet.
“We’ve approached them but they haven’t given us any formal approval in black and white so we’re still waiting.
“If nothing happens, our U16 and U18 games for round four will be cancelled.”
Meanwhile, Mogi said the teams had already been confirmed after the Monday’s deadline for fees.
Evahadana Primary School and New Erima Primary School have been excluded from the competition over unpaid fees.
“We had no indication from these schools and deadlines are deadlines,” Mogi said.
“It is disappointing that these two schools won’t be taking part after showing promising talent in their games.”
