Soccer comp K150,000 richer

LANDOWNER company, Petroleum Resources Kutubu (PRK) gave the Telikom National Soccer League K150, 000 yesterday.
PRK chairman John Kapi Natto presented a cheque to the NSL board chairman Isaac Lupari at the Minerals Resource Develipment Company office in Port Moresby in the presence of MRDC managing director Augustine Mano.
The presentation signified the importance of working together in taking the competition forward.
When making the presentation, Kapi Natto said PRL was more than happy to support the NSL as a path towards improving football in the country.
Lupari, while receiving the cheque, thanked PRK through Kapi Natto.
He said the money would go towards making this season a success.
He acknowledged the leadership of Kapi Natto, who was one of the architects of the NSL more than seven years ago, and had built Hekari United into the most successful club in national league and the country’s soccer history.
