Soccer star appeals for help

LAE and national soccer player Ludwig Peka needs urgent medical attention in Australia.
His family is now appealing to the public and soccer fraternity for help.
Peka needs K80,000 to undergo further treatment at the Royal Brisbane Hospital in Australia.
His elder brother, John, who is a soccer icon as well, said in Lae yesterday.
Ludwig had to undergo operations in Australia where his left kidney and spleen and part of his pancreas would  be removed.
The Peka family is appealing to friends, relatives, soccer associations and the PNGFA.
“We have contributed and are still contributing to soccer and now need help,” John said.
