PAPUA New Guinea Football Association (PNGFA) is calling on all its members wishing to submit proposals to be included in the PNGFA Ordinary (elective) Congress agenda set for August 7 in Kimbe, West New Britain.
PNGFA secretary-general Dimirit Mileng in a newspaper advertisement, dated May 6, said that “PNGFA executive committee on April 26, 2016, in accordance to article 28 of the PNGFA statutes has resolved to convene the ordinary elective congress of PNG Football Association.”
Mileng said member associations had 30 days from the date of notice to submit their proposals for the agenda, which include the election of the executive committee, including the president.
The election of a new president is likely to top the agenda for the August 7 meeting.
