ACTING Secretary for Religion, Youth and Community Development Anna Solomon is unhappy with the reinstatement of Joseph Klapat as the secretary.
Minister Loujaya Toni clarified that the suspended Klapat had been effectively reappointed.
In a statement, Toni said the National Executive Council had lifted the suspension and reinstated Klapat.
Solomon and nine female staff members have made serious allegations against Klapat and were claiming his reinstatement was biased.
She said the proper process had been hijacked as the investigation found, among other acts, a gross abuse of power and mismanagement by him.
Solomon questioned why Toni was trying to protect an officer who was implicated in controversial issues that were still awaiting investigation.
She said without a proper analysis, Toni got several suspended officers to change the locks and keys.
