Something positive

Letters

I WRITE to congratulate the Government for the visionary course taken to positively steer the country during these harsh economic times.
The Government is proving its seniority, experience, maturity and – with the wealth of knowledge it has from its Cabinet members – has successfully manoeuvred the country through the economic recession, crisis and depression.
The Government through its fiscal policy benefits comfortably from the Bank of PNG’s monetary policy, specifically in addressing the forex issue which is an integral part of trade facilitation.
Better to provide strategic insights to the Government of the day than blow hot air which can inflict fear on investors and the local businesses.
With the no-nonsense and sharp-mind attitude displayed by the Government in honouring its promises in the areas of health, education, law and order, infrastructure and public service, it deserves praise from us all.
Government is for the people, of the people and by the people and so let’s all stand firmly together and push for stability, prosperity, the absence of corruption and promote oneness with united hands to contribute to the ultimate success of this nation.
