SOROVI shocked M4M Bulldogs (1) 4-0 in Popondetta Rugby League Nines competition on Sunday.

The team from the Oil Blocks and Biru Jail edged the Mendi-Tari Compound opposition in a closely fought affair.

They are currently in eighth place and out of contention for the playoffs next week but showed they were determined to finish the season off on a high note.

Sorovis’ stars were five-eighth John Mabol, Moses Nul, Tom Isese, Abey Wai, and Keta Mako.

The loss has pushed the Northern Motel-sponsored Bulldogs to fourth place in the nine-team competition.

Meanwhile, the Higaturu Tigers claimed two victories over Buna 24-0 and Sauga Warriors 26-8 to top the table. They have the bye on this weekend.
